Also known as "Cuitlacoche” is a fungus that grows on the ears of corns. Considered a delicacy in Mexico, used extensively in central region for soup.
Great as a filling for quesadillas, tamales and other tortilla based dishes as well as an ingredient in soups and stews. Storage: Keep in a cool, dry place. Once opened, refrigerate.
