LA CAMPAGNOLA Dulce de Batata is a traditional South American dessert made from sweet potatoes. It has a gel-like, yet firm consistency and can be perfectly sliced. In Argentina, it is often served alongside a slice of cheese with nuts, but it can also be found on the breakfast table. Similar versions of this sweet potato dessert can also be found in neighboring countries such as Paraguay, Uruguay, Chile, and Brazil (where it is called Marrom Glacê).
