Dulce de Batata is a traditional South American dessert made from sweet potatoes. It has a gel-like yet firm texture and is perfect for slicing. In Argentina, it is often served alongside a slice of cheese with nuts, but can also be found on the breakfast table. Similar versions of this sweet potato dessert can also be found in neighbouring countries such as Paraguay, Uruguay, Chile, and Brazil (where it is called Marrom Glacê).
